The plot, located by the sea, is mainly flat, essentially at a level of 0.80m. from the sea and the coast, while the ridges of the surrounding hills are outlined around it.

The proposed composition aims to emphasize the horizontal geometry of the plot through the platform on which the building is based, which will in fact be made of exposed concrete, a material that further grounds the building to the ground. The two extensive pergolas that run along the entire length of the two main facades will also be made of reinforced exposed concrete, strengthening the horizontal axis.

The building volume is now proposed to be white, solid, ground-floor and in contrast to the strong horizontal elements of the entire composition, it presents partially sloping roofs, thus referring to the zigzag ridge of the surrounding landscape.

The placement of the new building on the plot is decided based on the existing topography and the visual escapes towards the sea, with the aim of its integration and the production of an aesthetically harmonious and functional result. The orientation parameters are taken seriously, guided by the principles of bioclimatic design and barrier-free accessibility for people with disabilities and people with disabilities, with the aim of designing a sustainable environmental and economic solution.

The new building is placed in the center of the plot with lateral distances from the plot boundaries of >15 meters and a distance from the shoreline of 45m, as defined by the relevant legislation, and faces northeast due to the visual escape towards the sea. The building volume of the proposed residence is divided into three individual sections which are visually unified on the northeast and southwest sides with pergolas along all the sides. The ground floor building is based on a platform approximately 1m. from the natural ground on the northeast side.
