CASA KOMBONADA

The existing buildings, built with materials present in situ (earth and stone), were in a ruinous and chaotic state.

The unevenness of the terrain and the modifications made over time have forced us to carry out a deep analysis to understand the hierarchies of the spaces and the relationships between interior and exterior.

We wanted to return to these buildings their essence of sober architecture, with simple shapes, without ornaments.

The project plays with few materials used with rigor and simplicity both at a formal and constructive level.

The new planimetric organization is developed according to horizontal and vertical axes that impose a new order on the exterior spaces.

Patios like successive terraces lead us from the street level to a long, narrow pool, on a route that allows us to discover little by little the architecture and the landscape.
